1. The welding must be carried out within the specified temperature, time and application times of each component. If the components are heated to high temperatures for a long time, the color of the body and its characteristics may change, and the connection may even be disconnected.

2. After welding, please keep it stress-free until it cools down.

3. After soldering, please make sure not to apply any mechanical stress to the terminal area, otherwise it may cause the printed board to warp.

1. Cover the coating to ensure the performance of the components. Please do not use pliers or pointed pliers to make improper adjustments to the automatic installation to avoid any damage or excessive impact to the coating. They may cause characteristics to change, disconnect or break.

2. Do not use fallen parts or used parts.

3. Make sure to avoid heat radiation generated by other heating components.

4. If molding or additional coating is needed after installing the components, please consult us in advance.

5. When assembling, please be careful not to generate static electricity on the parts.

1. Keep the components away from high temperature, high humidity, direct sunlight, high temperature, corrosive sulfur, chlorine, acid and alkali.

1. Please pay attention to the substance and make sure that there is no residue, because the residue may contain chlorine, acid and other ionic substances. When the product is attached with ionic impurities, it will affect the moisture resistance and corrosion resistance, especially in use In the absence of clean soldering and water-soluble cleaning, the reliability of the product must be checked before use.

2. Since exterior wall coatings are flame-retardant, their impact may be relatively weak. Please check before use. Before you get a good clean coating and the product is not completely dry, do not press the coating and overlap the product.

1,When the resistors are operated in ambient temperature above the rated temperature, the power rating must be derated according to the derating curve. Resistors in general may emit flame, fire, smoke or red heat when overload is applied.
2,Flame retardant resistors may emit smoke or cause red heat when overload is applied but unlikely to emit flame or fire.
3,When the resistors are sealed and coated by coating materials such as resin, deterioration of the resistor by thermal stress or resin may affect the characteristics. Confirm with KOA for the performance and reliability specifications in advance.
4,When the resin absorbs moisture, the resistance to moisture and corrosion of the resistor may deterorate, so be aware.
5,When the resistor is coated, potted and molded by resin materials, the curing stress could cause peeling of protective coating and crack of solder fillet, resulting the resistance change and disconnection. Do not coat nor seal the flame retardant coated resistors nor metal oxide film resistors.
6,Allow enough intervals for cooling after mounting metal film resistors, before washing the flux. Residues of ionic substances may deteriorate resistances to moisture and corrosion.
7,When a power exceeding the rated power is applied in a short time, we can not guarantee the safety only that the average power is below the rated power. Please contact KOA with the surge voltage or current waveform for advise.
8,Cylindrical film resistors have inductance due to the spiral trimming. Please be aware when using in a high frequency circuit.
9,The flame retardant resistors are weak against mechanical stress compared with the general resistors due to the special coating. Please do not apply impact, vibration or pinching with pliers or tweezers to the resistor body. Do not apply any external force to the protective coating until drying is fully completed after washing.
